Curriculum Developer

Curriculum developer is a position responsible for developing content, planning and facilitating workshop as well as conducting education research. The position reports to the Head of Curriculum, Programmes and Evaluation, but will work in a team with the entire HandsonLearning staff. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

  • To facilitate workshops developed by HandsonLearning and our education partners
  • To develop curriculum for schools and other institutions based on defined goals and objectives
  • To assist with the development of assessment and evaluation methods to evaluate student performance and curriculum performance
  • To conduct educational research and generate reports and/or publications
  • Works with senior staff to cultivate partnerships with other national and international organisations.

Qualifications

  • Love for children is a must
  • Knowledge of children's developmental trajectories and learning psychology is required
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an experiential, inquiry-based learning environment preferred
  • Degree/Dipolma holders with an enthusiastic, upbeat personality with a true commitment to the work of HandsonLearning
